Job Overview

The Store Finance Director will manage key strategic expense accounts and complex multi-year capital initiatives within the Stores organization. In partnership with Store Operations business partners, this individual will manage forecasting and budgeting / planning activities, provide Store Executive reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Oversight: Own key strategic expense accounts and maintain financial oversight over complex, multi-year capital initiatives within the Stores organization.
  2. Forecasting and Budgeting: Manage monthly forecasts for these accounts, working with Store Operations business partners to analyze variances and address unfavorable trends.
  3. Planning and Reporting: Manage the multi-year financial planning and annual budgeting processes for these accounts, ensuring plans are based on sound assumptions and reviewed by Store Operations Leadership.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify and drive initiatives that improve key processes, including systems / technology enablers, to make expense tracking and financial management more efficient.
  5. Analysis and Decision Support: Provide analytical support and scenario analysis to support decision making, serving as a thought partner to Store Operations Leadership.
  6. Team Development: Develop a high performing team, coaching and developing direct reports to maximize performance and value addition to the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with demonstrated superior college performance (preferably in an analytical field such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.)
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years post-college experience with demonstrated success at increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong familiarity with core financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial control process design
  • Outstanding analytical ability, with a data driven approach to solving problems and strong quantitative skills
  • Track record of successful team development, managing a team to high levels of performance and developing team members for growth and advancement
  • Dynamic, intellectually curious, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Prior retail or related experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the intricacies of a retail P&L and balance sheet
Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $111,900 - $210,300. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including benefits and rewards, which vary by position and location.
