Neurodiagnostic Technologist

As an EEG Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort while performing electroencephalograph examinations and other neurodiagnostic tests under physician supervision.

The EEG Technician is responsible for receiving and recording physician's orders for patient testing, scheduling patients, obtaining patient medical history, and completing appropriate documentation. You will also prepare patients for procedures, explain the procedure, measure for accurate electrode sites, apply electrodes, and adjust as necessary. Additionally, you will perform electroencephalograph exams and maintain equipment, making minor adjustments as indicated.

• Minimum of two (2) years directly related experience or an Associate's degree in Neurodiagnostic Technologies
• Basic Life Support certification

• Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors
• Maintains equipment and makes minor adjustments as necessary
• Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, and supports department-based goals

$55,000 - $70,000 per year
