Role Overview: Sales Representative

Leverage your expertise and insights to deliver top-tier products and services to our clientele. This position plays a crucial role within the aftermarket sales division. The Sales Representative will focus on supporting initiatives aimed at expanding aftermarket sales, achieving sales objectives, entering opportunities into the sales funnel, assisting the business development team, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet the sales targets outlined in the annual operating plan.
  • Drive and manage targeted inventory campaigns.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities.
  • Handle various sales tasks including responding to customer inquiries, tracking customer orders, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Keep track of customer order delivery timelines and communicate updates to relevant production teams as necessary.
  • Assist clients in clarifying specific order and contract needs, product specifications, availability, and lead times.
  • Manage customer data within Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC) and Visual Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • Oversee opportunity management within SFDC.
  • Report on sales funnel KPIs.
  • Support the Business Development team in assembling complex proposals and sales presentations.
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials for trade shows and events.
  • Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Achieve $3M in trade sales.
  • Demonstrate measurable sales growth with Textron's trade accounts.
  • Enhance the integrity of sales funnel data.
  • Improve response times for customer proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, new product introduction, contract analysis, and compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate with dedicated teams that value diverse experiences and perspectives.
  • Background in aviation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Visual ERP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Aeronautical Accessories products and services.
  • Familiarity with Textron Helicopter products and services.
  • Strong self-management skills.

Requirements for Success:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits and trade shows as needed, with travel up to 5%.
