Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services is a key leadership position at Life Care Center of America, responsible for directing the rehabilitation services department to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation services and make data-driven decisions to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Recruit, select, and train rehabilitation staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the efficient delivery of rehabilitation services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in rehabilitation services.
Requirements
  • Active license in physical, occupational, or speech therapy and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license type.
  • Currently registered/licensed with applicable State and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • Supervisory experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation and maintain current during employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in rehabilitation services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
