Los Angeles, California, United States Children's Hospital Los Angeles Full time
Pediatric ICU Opportunities

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a leader in pediatric and adolescent health, both here and across the globe. As a premier Magnet teaching hospital, you'll find an environment that's alive with learning, rooted in care and compassion, and home to thought leadership and unwavering support.

We're seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our PICU team. In this role, you'll provide family-centered, multidisciplinary care for critically ill patients ranging from infancy through young adulthood. You'll work with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage client's health care problems, serving as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Responsibilities include ordering, conducting, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribing pharmacologic agents and treatments, and non-pharmacologic therapies in a cost-efficient manner. You'll work autonomously as well as in collaboration with a team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications include three years of PICU pediatric experience, a Master's of Science degree in Nursing from an N.L.N. accredited graduate school of nursing, and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner. You'll also need a current California Registered Nurse License and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner. National certification as appropriate is preferred, as is eligibility for Furnishing License.

CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. We offer a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education, alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs. We're committed to creating hope and building healthier futures - for our patients, as well as for you and your career.

At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, our work matters. And so do each and every one of our valued team members. We're an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, national origin, sex, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other legally protected basis under federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances.
