Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital X-Ray Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through mobile diagnostic imaging procedures.

**Your Role: **

As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist at DispatchHealth, your primary responsibility will be to perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable x-rays and EKG exams, in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations. Your day-to-day experience will involve:

• Traveling by automobile as directed to perform diagnostic imaging exams
• Following company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
• Collecting and verifying required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures
• Preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging exams
• Operating portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or designated exam settings
• Determining exposure factors based on height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required
• Demonstrating safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles, infection control, and use of personal protective equipment

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
• Have a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends

**Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
