Job Title: Automotive Lab Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Lab Manager to oversee our Environmental and Vibration Testing laboratory focused on automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the testing lab, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and refine testing protocols for environmental and vibration tests, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SAE).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operating optimally. Manage procurement and installation of new testing equipment as needed.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of test results.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of testing processes and results.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development, ensuring timely and effective testing outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring all lab operations comply with local, national, and international guidelines.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the lab, optimizing operational costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory management, with a focus on environmental and vibration testing in the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and equipment related to environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) and vibration analysis.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF).
