Job Description:

This role involves working as a cashier, using cash registers, electronic scanners, and other related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, reliable, and possess excellent customer service skills, top-notch accuracy, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while adhering to our operating standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Greet customers with a sincere smile and make them feel welcome through positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.">
  • Take and fill customer orders within company-mandated service time.">
  • Suggestive upselling of products as directed by management.">
  • Collect money and deliver orders to customers.">
  • Immediately attend to any customer service problems or complaints and notify managers as needed.">
  • Verify opening reading and bank, ensuring accountability and responsibility for all cash issued and received at their register during their shift.">
  • Notify managers immediately of any deletions, over-rings, or equipment problems.">
  • Ensure product holding times are strictly observed and maintain a clean display case and counter area.">
  • Stock the service area with necessary supplies, including napkins, cups, lids, and iced tea.">
  • Perform other duties as assigned.">

Position Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Position Qualifications/Functional Skills:

  • ">
  • Knowledge of all restaurant policies, practices, and operational procedures.">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.">
  • Able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment and accurately count back change.">
  • Practices adequate security measures in cash handling, making frequent cash drops and maintaining a minimum amount of cash in the front drawer.">
  • Basic computer skills.">
  • Reports to work timely for each scheduled shift.">

Salary:

An estimated annual salary for this position is around $30,000-$40,000 based on industry standards and location.
