We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Health Professional to join our team of dedicated healthcare providers. As an independent contractor, you will work with us to provide health readiness services to military personnel across various branches, including the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve.

About the Role

As a Medical Health Professional, your primary responsibility will be to support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel. This involves reviewing health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires. You will also interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns and identify any issues that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
  • Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
  • Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
  • Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using proprietary systems.
Requirements
  • A supervising physician may be required depending on state regulations.
  • Active NP license in the state.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health is preferred.
  • Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with large volumes of service members seen daily.
  • Willingness to work extended hours.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including remote military installations.
  • Flexibility to travel, with weekend availability being preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • No requirement to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $85,000-$110,000, based on experience and location. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes opportunities for professional growth and development.
