Job Overview

Mobis North America Electrified Powertain, LLC (MNAe) seeks a highly skilled Quality Control Lead to oversee the quality of products and processes on the production floor.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Quality Control Team and manage their performance, schedules, and daily attendance.
  • Collaborate with supporting departments and leadership to address operational, safety, and quality issues.
  • Develop and implement quality documents, including work instructions, standards, and flowcharts.
  • Monitor product quality, repairs, and workmanship, ensuring proper labeling, allocation, and staging of parts received externally and manufactured internally.
  • Design and implement training programs in conjunction with leadership.
  • Track and analyze team member records, including attendance, work hours, training, and performance.
  • Communicate quality information and objectives to management, supervisors, and team members.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for review by the management team.
  • Implement corrective actions and discussion plans as necessary.
  • Maintain and promote good quality processes and 5-S standards within the QC Department.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in quality control, with five years or more in a leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
