Safety Specialist

This role involves identifying and informing management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through regular audits. The successful candidate will facilitate investigation processes, maintain required paperwork, and enter information into internal databases. They will also perform observations and audits, train and assist others, and participate in process improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in an Environmental and Health and Safety (EHS) related field or a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
- Experience leading and managing a team
