Job Title: Lead Gospel Organist - Hampton VA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gospel Organist to join our team at the Ladgov Corporation in Hampton, VA. The successful candidate will provide gospel organist services at the Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC), performing sessions of gospel music and other Christian genres.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be available to perform services 2 times on Sundays for 53 Sundays at 8am (EST) and 9:30am (EST). Additionally, they will be required to perform up to 40 additional services at rehearsals and/or special events designated by the Facility POC at times and locations designated by the Facility POC any day of the week.

Responsibilities:

  • The employee shall provide high-quality gospel organist services to meet the needs of the Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC).
  • Provide expert-level performances of gospel music and other Christian genres to enhance the spiritual well-being of patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the Facility POC to schedule performances and ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a gospel organist with the ability to sing on key and recognize basic melodies from musical text.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.

Compensation:

We offer an estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
