Nurse Specialist

Beverly Farm Foundation is a leading provider of care services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the medical needs of our residents are met in accordance with proper procedures and standards of care. This includes performing routine assessments, documenting patient information, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.

• Perform general nursing duties, including routine assessments and documentation
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and proper procedures
• Assume responsibility for ordering and maintaining adequate supplies of medication
• Ensure all treatments, such as enemas and skin care, are accomplished with proper procedures
• Notify physicians of any changes in patient condition and submit accident reports as necessary
• Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge

• Current and valid Illinois nursing license
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
