Job Title: Group Employee Benefits Sales Representative

Are you a sales professional looking to drive growth and expansion in the employee benefits industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Employee Benefits Sales Representative to join our client's team in Kansas City/St. Louis.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for developing and managing a specified geographic territory to expand the distribution of employee benefits products and services. You will be responsible for building meaningful business relationships with brokers and other centers of influence to drive sales activity and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain key broker relationships to expand market presence and increase sales production.
  • Build a strong, visible presence in the assigned territory through sales and product seminars.
  • Develop a meaningful pipeline of new opportunities and guide them from prospect to closure.
  • Achieve activity and assigned revenue targets through effective use of Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data.
  • Manage assigned territory to achieve net quote activity levels that meet selling objectives.
Requirements:
  • Established broker relationships with experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life.
  • Produce within the assigned territory and achieve satisfactory sales results and submissions of client's products.
  • Exceptional skill in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with a collaborative style.
  • Advanced ability to develop strategies and business plans and then deliver on established objectives.
  • Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills.
  • Able to travel up to 50% to meet with targeted prospects.
  • Bachelor's Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Life and Health license.
  • Minimum of two - four years of Employment Benefit Sales experience.
