About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team at Highmark Health, a mission-driven organization committed to delivering remarkable health experiences. This role requires a technical expert with a proven track record in cloud development, particularly in Master Data Management (MDM) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Complex Projects: Analyze, design, code, test, and implement complex application enhancements, providing general production support while meeting defined scope, target dates, and budgets with minimal or no defects.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements, driving analysis and design of quality technical solutions that meet complex business needs.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer required technical support, including release implementations, on-call, and 24x7 support when necessary, ensuring compliance with all Highmark and Highmark IT standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in Project Teams: Actively participate in project teams in various roles, including Developer, Technical Lead, and Project Manager, based on experience.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field is preferred.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer is required. Relevant experience with Project Management tools, databases, and multiple coding languages is essential. Experience with MDM systems, cloud data warehousing, and Databricks is highly valued.

Licenses and Certifications

A cloud certification (GCP, Azure, AWS) and Informatica MDM Certifications (Developer and/or Product360) are preferred.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $67,500-$124,800 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
