Join Our Team as a Walmart Associate Optometrist

About the Optometry Team

We're looking for a motivated and autonomous individual who will forge a trusted partnership with our community. As a key member of our team, you'll operate the business as if it were your own, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based vision care to patients, recommending and prescribing medications and treatment options.
  • Deliver routine vision care using evidence-based guidelines and educate patients and store associates on eye health.
  • Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans and observe optometry scope of practice per state board.
  • Embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation, such as digital phoropters and EMR systems.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
  • Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
  • EMR/EHR experience.
  • Eagerness to embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
  • Experience in treating and managing ocular disease.
