Senior Welder

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welder to join our team at Stellar Energy Americas Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of welding functions in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe with SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete fabrication projects.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in welding, with a focus on SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
• 2 years of vocational technical training in welding or a related field.
• Dependable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean background check.

Working Conditions:

This position operates out of a fabrication facility, with occasional travel to construction job sites. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
