Job Summary

This position, under direct supervision, is responsible for developing content management solutions to meet the technical vision, strategy, and plan for Enterprise Content Management for all CITGO business units, aligned with business needs. The Enterprise Content Management Intern works as a functional and technical analyst on various technology projects and initiatives aligned with high-priority goals. Primary responsibilities include designing and developing new applications, forms, reports, and workflows leveraging different OpenText products and technologies. The role requires a willingness to build both functional and technical knowledge as needed to provide high levels of support to our business units. The ECM Intern applies analysis and problem-solving skills to the process design effort and the evaluation of technology-enabling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis – Assist team members and business users to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and development – Develop within the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to enable content management solutions aligned with business needs. Analysis and design of SAP solutions for imaging, content management, and/or archiving. Initiate and encourage critical analysis of CITGO technical processes. Collaborate with industry groups. Detailed knowledge of CITGO processes in specific areas of responsibility, including interactions with other business processes.
  • Planning – Formulate, communicate, and execute less complex project deliverables.
  • System Support – With the guidance of subject matter experts, assist in investigating production system problems/questions, ascertaining root cause, and corrective action needed. Design, develop, test, and implement corrective action.
  • Training – Plan, prepare, and deliver appropriate training to end-users.
  • Professional Development – Develop technical skill sets, leadership skills, presentation skills, business area knowledge, and independent thinking/decision-making abilities on an ongoing basis. Stay abreast of technology innovation and its applicability to CITGO's business. Gain a basic understanding of CITGO business processes in specific areas of responsibility, including interactions with other business processes.
