Talent Acquisition Specialist

Judson is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the recruitment process for positions at Judson, ensuring that positions are filled with individuals who meet the skills, abilities, experience levels and competencies required by the positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and interview candidates.
- Write and post internal employment opportunities and external advertisements as needed.
- Conduct reference checks and criminal background checks as needed.
- Monitor compliance of medical examinations, annual and pre-employment T.B. tests and substance screening.
- Identify sources to market and network open positions at Judson and build relationships with organizations to create a pipeline of talent.
Requirements:
- 1+ years recruiting experience with high volume recruiting.
- Familiarity and exposure to working with and accountable to recruiting metrics.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with Behavioral Interviewing concepts and technique.
- Computer literacy required, including strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook with some familiarity with HRIS.
Working Conditions:
This role requires good vision and hearing, and the ability to lift 20 pounds, bend, stoop, sit for 1-2 hours at a time, and walk up stairs.
