Position Details:
  • 1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 5 PM - 3:30 AM
  • 3rd Shift: Saturday - Monday, 5 AM - 5 PM

This is a Temp-to-Perm position with a focus on long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Handle loose freight, including repalletizing and shrink-wrapping.
  • Position truck tractors and trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Report unsafe working conditions and practices to management.
  • Communicate with management regarding necessary tools and supplies.
  • Conduct yard checks for shipping and receiving.
  • Spot loaded containers for unloading as directed.
  • Ensure proper disposal of seals and secure container doors.
  • Move empty containers to designated yard spots.
  • Confirm actions with warehouse lead for safety.
  • Perform daily inspections of the yard spotter vehicle.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Yard Spotter is required, along with sit-down forklift experience.
  • Willingness to cross-train in other areas is essential.
