- Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
- Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
- Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
- Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2 years of Dental Assistant work experience.
- Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act).
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric, and high patient volume environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Adaptable to a changing work environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency.
- Team player.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
