Job Title: Automation Controls Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Specialist to join our team at Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation projects. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, drives, communications, and plant power systems
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and robots using software programs like RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000
  • Collaborate with technical services to ensure machine repair, changeover, setup, and operation run smoothly

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with ABB (S4C & IRC5 Controllers) and Motoman (NX100, DX100, & DX200 Controllers) robots
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and programming software
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Step 7 programming software
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley Power Flex and Indramat drives
  • Understanding of communication protocols including EtherNet/IP and Profibus
  • Experience with MIG and resistance welding

Preferred Skills:

A minimal amount of experience with Fanuc and Kuka robots would be beneficial.

Pay Details:

The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be between $28.00 and $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
