Business Analyst for Alternative Asset Management

Apollo is a leading global alternative asset manager with a strong focus on providing excess return to clients across various risk-reward spectrums. As a Business Analyst for Alternative Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's efforts in financial modeling, analysis, and portfolio management.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and project support for the non-investment team activities, including strategic and transaction modeling, business development support, and capital market comparisons.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, incorporating strategic options and market trends.
  • Support business development efforts, researching new business opportunities, market competitors, and providing general support as needed.
  • Perform capital structure relative value analysis and tracking, and support the capital markets function as needed.
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring and analysis, providing insights on portfolio construction and performance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate institution.
  • Prior experience in an equity research or credit research role is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a basic understanding of the capital markets and a familiarity with leveraged finance.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present findings effectively.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000. This is a competitive offer, and the final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
