Job Overview

As a Medical Plasma Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission by ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence and customer service in our plasma collection centers.

Your primary responsibilities will include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, including graduate-level education from a recognized nursing program.
  • Current licensure or certification as an EMT-Paramedic in the state where your responsibilities will be assigned.
  • CPR and AED certification.
  • Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
  • Satisfactory completion of FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialists.
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $18.50 - $22.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

Location

This role is based in Roanoke, VA, with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
