About Sturgeon Electric Company:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant I to join our team. This role plays a key role in the coordination and distribution of work, supporting project managers, office managers, and field staff.
In this position, you will provide administrative support for field and office personnel, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for data entry, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and retention, submitting and filing invoices, serving clients, vendors, and other walk-in customers, receiving, sorting, and dispersing mail, reconciling and submitting credit card reports, assisting with hiring lineman/wireman, operating office equipment, answering phones, providing basic information, transferring callers as appropriate, ordering, setting up, and supporting employee iPhones, iPads, and mobile hotspots, efficiently and professionally managing the flow of people and information through the business, and maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2-3 years of general administrative experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while supporting management, excellent attention to detail, self-starter with a good attitude, and flexibility to work in various locations within 10 miles from each other throughout the week.
Estimated Salary: $22 - $27 per hour, commensurate with experience, paid weekly. The salary range is made in good faith, and MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
