We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonography Specialist to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

About the Job

As an Echo Tech, you will perform echocardiography procedures while communicating with patients and addressing their concerns. You will recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow, adjusting scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.

You will analyze sonographic findings throughout the examination to provide comprehensive data to physicians for diagnosis. Additional responsibilities include performing stress echo testing when needed and working in partnership with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
  • RDS eligible or registered
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience

Please note that Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
