Dallas, Texas, United States Cortica - Neurodevelopmental Full time

Cortica, a pioneering healthcare company dedicated to innovative treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join its dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

We are committed to designing and delivering life-changing care – one child, one family, one community at a time. Our mission is to cultivate the full potential of every child, and we envision a world where every individual can thrive.

At Cortica, our culture and values guide how we work and treat each other. We celebrate diversity, foster an inclusive environment, and seek ideas and opinions from everyone on the team. We safeguard equal rights and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, creed, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, veteran status or other applicable, legally protected characteristics.

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Treatment Goal Establishment: Utilize dynamic and standardized assessment tools to establish occupational therapy treatment goals that cater to the unique needs of our patients.
  2. Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic approaches.
  3. Individualized Therapy Sessions: Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and co-treats with other disciplines when therapeutically appropriate.
  4. Record-Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  5. Sensory Processing and Skill Development: Implement play-based and goal-based interventions to promote sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily occupations.
  6. Functional Experiences: Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  7. Activity-Based Support: Develop strategies and supports to help patients more fully engage in activities of daily living.
  8. Patient-Centered Care: Collaborate with patients and their families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  9. Program Development: Contribute to program development that considers all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.

This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for working with children. If you possess a master's degree in a related field, hold a current and unrestricted license or certification, and have excellent clinical skills, we encourage you to apply.

The estimated salary range for this position is $42.74 to $53.43 per hour, based on your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location. You will receive compensation that fits appropriately within this range.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance your overall well-being, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.
