Mammography Interventional Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Interventional Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and interventional procedures, with excellent communication and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammography and interventional procedures, including stereotactic breast biopsies
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient exams and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest mammography and interventional techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in radiography and mammography
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography and interventional procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
