Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Community Health Systems, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by departmental procedures. Your expertise will be relied upon to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient history and explain standard procedures to patients.
  • Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by departmental procedures.
  • Perform ultrasound examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization.
  • Work under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Requirements:
  • Associates degree and completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
