In this rewarding role as a Nephrology Care Specialist at DAVITA, you will provide essential dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal failure and chronic kidney disease in a dynamic hospital environment. Collaborate with a skilled team of clinicians to develop personalized treatment plans, oversee patient care, and adapt to their unique needs.

This comprehensive position involves delivering nephrology care through Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to create a positive patient experience, leveraging your clinical skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

  • No prior dialysis experience is required; we provide paid training to ensure your success.
  • You may have the opportunity to float to various facilities during and after your training.
  • A flexible schedule is essential, as you will need to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • An Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg can be beneficial but is not required.
  • Certification as a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is also desirable.
