Located in Southfield, MI, Skillforce (USA) is seeking a CNC Machine Technician to fill a contract position lasting multiple months. This role requires the individual to work 8+ hours per day, 7 days a week, for 56+ hours weekly.

About the Job

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and fine-tuning CNC machines in preparation for production runs, ensuring they perform optimally and deliver precise results.

Responsibilities
  • Change out tooling inserts in the tooling room
  • Set up and calibrate CNC machines based on job specifications
  • Install and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces to ensure proper machine function
  • Loading programs into CNC machines and conducting initial test runs to verify settings and alignments
  • Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they remain in optimal working condition
  • Replace, adjust, or sharpen tools as needed to preserve accuracy and quality
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $40 per hour. The total estimated annual salary would be approximately $83,200 per year.
