We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Oncology to join our interdisciplinary team at Research Medical Center. As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

About the Role:

  • You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within your scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
  • You will educate patients and their families about disease-specific protocols, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower informed decision-making.
  • You may also administer chemotherapy, manage side effects, and coordinate care transitions to ensure seamless patient flow.

What Qualifications We Seek:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • A valid state license as a registered professional nurse, compact license or active registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ongoing competency validation
  • Prior experience in oncology nursing or related field preferred, but not required
