Strategic Partnerships Development Manager

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our corporate partnerships and cultivating new relationships to drive funding for our programs and initiatives.
About the RoleThis is a key position that requires advanced knowledge and experience in business development, corporate fundraising, or marketing. You will work closely with our Business Development Team to develop effective strategies to engage new corporate partners and increase financial support for our organization.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to develop strategic plans to strengthen current corporate partnerships and cultivate new ones.
- Work with program staff to identify potential corporate partners and provide leadership to guide them through the fundraising process.
- Manage accounts, prospect, and cold call to secure new partnerships and expand existing ones.
- Leverage sales resources, such as sales intel and LinkedIn, to identify prospects and manage Salesforce opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships to explore different segments of the corporate community as viable funding partners for NCOA programs and initiatives.
- Initiate programs such as licensing, cause-related marketing, event/program sponsorship, thought-leadership, social enterprise, and promotional campaigns to increase funding on the corporate platform.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to identify opportunities to drive visibility, revenue generation, and corporate activation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in business development, corporate fundraising, or marketing.
- Experience developing budgets, tracking, and measuring results.
- Experience with both restricted and unrestricted fundraising techniques.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization and with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines and goals in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM databases such as Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including the ability to articulate the case for support to corporate partners.
