**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Medication Quality Control Specialist to join our team at our Petersburg, Virginia site. As a key member of our newly forming team, you will bring your expertise in quality control and compliance to ensure the intended materials are utilized for manufacturing and meet the required standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing analytical testing on sterile injectable products, maintaining analytical equipment, and executing method verification, validations, and transfers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that finished products meet applicable standards of identity, strength, quality, and purity.

Key Responsibilities:*
- Perform analytical testing and interpret results using proper documentation practices.
- Participate in analytical method transfers and perform method verifications/validations.
- Notify management of OOS, OOT, or atypical results with the appropriate level of urgency.
- Lead and/or participate in laboratory investigations.
- Maintain LIMS data and contribute to a safety culture by adhering to established safety procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 4+ years' experience working in a regulated laboratory environment. Your proficiency with LIMS software, analytical data acquisition software, and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
A strong ability to multitask and change priorities in a fast-paced environment is also required. Additionally, you should have a self-motivated approach and willingness to learn and help others.
