About the Role

Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is a nationwide leader in school-based therapy and special education services. We are seeking a skilled Student Achievement Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Student Achievement Specialist will work inside the classroom to utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies with students to access the adopted curriculum and work towards IEP goals. This position is a school-year position with possible opportunities to work during summer break.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a classroom team to support academic instruction and behavior plans
  • Support independent work, special projects, or teaching a lesson to a small group
  • Assist with classroom planning and preparing of materials with the classroom teacher
  • Assist students in participating in classroom routines, transitions, and self-care tasks as necessary
  • Implement behavior intervention techniques in alignment with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as directed by ABA Manager or Campus Director
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance

Requirements:

  • Experience with the classroom environment and with ABA, including the ability to work with the Lead Behavior Specialist and the ABA Manager to improve practices and approach
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT) required
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a classroom setting
  • Must have an understanding of behavioral characteristics associated with autism and other behavior issues
  • Has good communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with parents and education professionals
  • Has a basic understanding of instructional methods and education curriculums
  • Must be able to handle emotionally charged situations
  • Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • First aid/CPR certification may be required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card required

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $40,000 - $55,000 based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Kaleidoscope Education Solutions provides a comprehensive benefits package, including compensated weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
