Academic Instructor of Anthropology Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced academic instructor to join our department as a part-time, non-tenure track instructor of anthropology. This role will involve teaching undergraduate courses in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and world archaeology.

This position is ideal for individuals who have experience teaching relevant courses at the university level and possess a strong background in the subfield of anthropology. The focus of the degree or training should be in the area to be taught.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and world archaeology
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to engage students
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
The course(s) might be taught online or on one of the following campuses: Athens, Chillicothe, Lancaster, Southern, Zanesville, Eastern, Pickerington, Proctorville. On-campus instruction requires three hours in-class instruction per class per week and an additional hour per week for office hours.

Requirements- ABD or PhD in Anthropology
- Experience as an independent instructor of a relevant course at the university level
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness
