About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Kaiser Permanente. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with patients and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and functional abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between hospital and home environments.
  • Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy programs to enhance patient outcomes, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental standards.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and strategies to facilitate successful discharge and community reintegration.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, with current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where care is provided.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies for patients with diverse diagnoses and abilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and ability to navigate complex healthcare information technology.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
