Corporate Finance Analyst

The Financial Planning Analyst plays a vital role in assisting the Assistant Controller by delivering financial insights to leadership and program managers, aimed at enhancing and refining existing financial performance metrics.

This role requires a strong dedication to customer service and a collaborative approach with finance and management teams to evaluate overall business effectiveness.

• Design, implement, and sustain project-based financial measurement systems.
• Provide financial advice to management and program leaders.
• Collaborate with managers to develop program budgets and timelines.
• Assist in work plan reconciliation and reporting.
• Deliver weekly/monthly financial status reports to the Controller.
• Evaluate current financial metrics for potential enhancements.
• Research and apply cost-saving initiatives.
• Support the Controller & Contracts Manager in organizing proposals, purchase orders, and RFQs.
• Perform ad hoc tasks, including revenue forecasts, market analysis, and budgeting.
• Oversee all facets of program finance activities.

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business field: Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Strong communication skills for both internal collaboration and external interactions with customers/suppliers.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Preferred experience in finance or accounting.

- Experience with engineering firms is advantageous.

- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
