Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their main contact for all insurance-related needs.
  • Insurance Consulting: Offer expert advice to clients regarding insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
  • Policy Review: Analyze clients' existing insurance policies to ensure they align with their current and evolving needs and risk profiles.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to grow your client portfolio by prospecting, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and cross-selling products.
  • Policy Placement: Work closely with insurance carriers to negotiate the best terms and pricing for your clients.
  • Claims Management: Guide and advocate for clients throughout the claims process, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
  • Renewals: Manage policy renewals proactively, advising clients on necessary updates and ensuring a smooth renewal process.
  • Compliance: Stay informed on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure clients' insurance programs are compliant.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and well-organized client records, including policies, endorsements, and correspondence.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging risks to offer informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Insurance certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a client executive, account manager, or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and risk management principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with insurance carriers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess policies and analyze risk effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in insurance software and industry tools.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.
