A seasoned Civil Construction Project Coordinator is sought by our trusted client, Boutique Recruiting, to oversee projects, manage project documentation, schedule, and coordinate with subcontractors. As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project paperwork, including submittals and contracts, for various projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Create work plans for crews and coordinate order logistics to ensure timely project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project goals.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site.
  • Support the Construction Manager in managing day-to-day project operations and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, with a focus on heavy civil projects (structures, bridges, retaining walls) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPS) and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage diverse personalities on the job site.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management software, specifically Primavera P6, is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $105,000 based on experience.
  • Bonus potential based on company performance (approximately 5% of salary, paid out in 3 of the last 5 years).
