Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sensory Panel Assistant. This role will provide support to our sensory team in various projects, including Descriptive Analysis, consumer guidance, difference panels, and team tastings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist sensory team in preparing references, samples, and panel rooms for training and testing.
  • Set up and maintain sensory booths, including sample cup/plate labeling and data entry.
  • Prepare and serve samples during panels, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, adhering to Cargill Food Safety, EHS, and PPE policies.
  • Restock panel rooms, booths, and sensory labs, and manage inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with routine food safety maintenance and complete the Master Sanitation checklist on a weekly basis.
  • Support panel leaders in data entry, feedback chart creation, and project spreadsheet management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Lab experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis.
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel to other R&D locations.
Preferred Skills
  • 3-6 months of lab experience.
  • Kitchen experience is a plus.
