Behavioral Health Technician

Job Summary
Denver Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to provide a safe and supportive environment for psychiatric patients. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, conduct therapeutic group sessions, and assist with the admission and orientation of new patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs on assigned patients and provide care in accordance with 27-10 regulations and department policy.
- Collect laboratory specimens as directed by RN staff and report abnormal findings.
- Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans under the supervision of the RN.
- Provide input to the RN to help develop the plan of care and assist in carrying out the plan of care for assigned patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- CNA-Certified Nurse Aide and BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certifications required.
