Strategic Leader for Data-Driven Solutions at Apple

Overview
The App Store is a hub of innovation, serving over half a billion customers every week across all Apple devices. As a member of the App Store Analytics & Data Engineering group, you will contribute to features and developer-facing products like App Analytics. Partner with engineers to deliver scalable, performant, and high-quality analytics services to internal collaborators and the entire app developers ecosystem.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced leader who excels in large-scale program execution. You'll drive massive programs from inception to delivery across sophisticated initiatives. Establish SDLC processes, compute efficiency initiatives, or data quality programs, leading software engineering teams to scale efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable frameworks, providing technical leadership across multiple teams.
- Become familiar with our internal tools and systems, defining roadmaps that align with efficient resource utilization and technology modernization goals.
- Advocate for industry standard processes and promote technological advancements within engineering teams, prioritizing their adoption.
- Foster multi-functional communication with internal partners and executive leadership, ensuring requirements are clearly understood.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of experience in architecture or engineering management.
- Manage data collection, pipelines, tools, and platforms for internal engineering teams, focusing on driving long-term strategies.
- Gather, analyze, and present data to support assumptions and drive decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills, ability to lead effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have opportunities for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
