About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Kitchen Specialist to join our team at Viewline Resort Snowmass, an exceptional mountain resort in Snowmass Village, Colorado. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Operating dishwashing machinery and ensuring proper handling and storage of cleaned items
  • Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
  • FOLLOWING safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
  • BASIC knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Compensation

This is a seasonal position offering a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, based on industry standards for a Kitchen Specialist in Snowmass Village, Colorado.
