Job Summary

Lakeside Veterinary Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our overnight shift team. As a key member of our emergency and general practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
  • Collection and analysis of lab samples
  • Diagnostic imaging and management of medical and hospitalized cases
  • Administration of medications and effective communication of treatment plans with clients
  • Surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-year experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Weekend shift availability
  • High work ethic and positive attitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
  • Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
