Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Glendale Dining Services. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service
  • Monitor food costs and inventory to ensure optimal use of resources
  • Collaborate with our dietary team to ensure that all meals meet our high standards for quality and presentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in culinary arts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior chef in a high-end senior dining environment
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food cost control, and team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
