Job Summary

LADGOV CORPORATION is seeking a highly skilled Archaeologist to join our team. As an Archaeologist, you will be responsible for conducting cultural resource surveys and monitoring archaeological sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Cultural Resource Surveys: Research and identify potential archaeological sites, and conduct on-site surveys to determine their cultural significance.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit detailed reports on survey findings, including maps and required forms.
  • Provide Archaeological Monitoring: Conduct monitoring activities as needed, based on report findings and stipulations from the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and/or Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO).
  • Deliverables: Provide two copies of the report, along with a PDF copy, and ensure that the report includes detailed maps and required forms.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: A qualified Archaeologist shall have a minimum of 12 months of specialized experience and/or a four-year course of study above high school leading to a bachelor's degree with courses related to archaeology.
