Company OverviewCreative Financial Staffing is a dynamic and innovative company seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team.
About the JobThe Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing federal, international, and state income tax returns, including analysis and support. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will manage use and property tax functions, oversee audits, and handle accounting for income taxes (ASC 740).
You will collaborate with international subsidiaries on global tax compliance processes, supervise professional staff, and act as a liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues.
In addition, you will ensure appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes and serve as the departmental liaison with IT staff on all technical matters relating to tax applications.
Responsibilities- Complete federal, international, and state income tax returns, including analysis and support.
- Manage use and property tax functions.
- Oversee audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings.
- Handle accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) for U.S. and international subsidiaries.
- Manage transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
- Collaborate with international subsidiaries on global tax compliance processes.
- Supervise professional staff.
- Act as a liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes.
- Serve as the departmental liaison with IT staff on all technical matters relating to tax applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of related tax experience, with a preference for both industry and public accounting experience.
- International tax experience is required.
