Job Overview
The Benefits Program Manager will service client accounts from beginning to end, encompassing all aspects of Open Enrollment requirements, presenting product information, and acting as an expert on employee benefits. This role involves collaborating with production teams and cross-functional departments to drive business outcomes.

This position will be hybrid, requiring 3 days in-office per week and 2 days working remotely.

Main Responsibilities
- Spearhead the full-cycle renewal process for assigned clients, prepare proposals, and conduct market research to support new and renewal business
- Provide exceptional customer service to group administrators, answering coverage questions, and resolving claim issues
- Work closely with Scott's accounting division to reconcile commission shortages/overages and maintain communication with insurance carriers
- Document all renewal activities, including RFPs, proposals, and emails, in Applied Epic and Zywave's Brokerage Builder (agency management system)
- Collaborate with production team members on client needs and requests
- Attend industry events and seminars to stay updated on changes and participate in continuing education opportunities

Position Requirements and Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least 2 years of benefit administration experience
- Active Life & Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and experience effectively prioritizing multiple tasks and requests
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Excel
- CEBS designation preferred but not required

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
