Job Summary:

The Heavy Construction Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment in a heavy civil construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Participate in pre-shift safety meetings and actively promote a safe work environment.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in heavy civil construction.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
